"There can be no keener revelation of society's soul than the way in which it treats its children"

I believe that children, in their first five years can benefit greatly from a program that offers a low child:adult ratio and a multi-age level setting. A quality program helps enrich each child's life experiences and helps to establish a positive attitude about learning. I will provide many opportunities for children to succeed, build healthy self esteem and express their individuality. I will focus on the individual child's needs, within the context of the group as I believe each child develops at their own pace. I will provide a variety of stimulating activities with a balance of structure and free choice from all of the basic developmental areas within a safe and well defined environment. 

I believe  an orderly environment, a predictable routine and most importantly, a reliable, loving caregiver, helps children to establish a trusting relationship with their world which is necessary for the development of autonomy and independence. 

Finally my ultimate goal is for each child to feel loved, relaxed, secure, and generally good about themselves as developing individuals.
